About US

ELK MOTOR was established in the Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone by the main shareholders of Yılmaz Redüktör AS, as a continuation of the product family, and produces electric motors in the IEC 63-315 body range in a 50,000 m2 closed area built on 135,000 m2 open area.

All engine series are designed in accordance with European standards and are produced in IE4, IE3 and IE2 efficiency classes and offered to customers. In addition, since our motors are designed to meet the IE3 efficiency class in terms of their basic design and technology, they provide customers with a smooth transition from the currently mandatory IE2 efficiency class to the IE3 efficiency class, thanks to the mechanical dimensions remaining the same. Along with our standard engines produced in accordance with European standards, we also produce special engines that will provide our customers with advantages in terms of performance and cost.

ELK Engines are produced in our factory in Çerkezköy, with all processes from engineering to machining, casting, sheet metal processing and motor winding. While the shaft, body and covers are produced on fully automatic CNC machines under constant quality control, the rotor and stator packages are printed on automatic locking lamination moulds. Then, the rotor packages are pressed in automatic injection machines and turned into rotor shaft groups, while the stator packages are wrapped in automatic winding machines and made ready for assembly by varnishing with the automatic dipping method or VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) depending on the need and the field of use. Thus, the products produced always reach the best levels in terms of quality and performance. After all these processes, our engines are assembled in accordance with the product and after passing the 100% final control and testing stages, they are packaged and made ready for shipment.

In addition, ELK MOTOR has the quality management systems and product certificates required by its customers. Our quality system is certified by ISO 9001 and our products are certified by UL.
